When translation is needed, people usually think of Google Translate. Google Translate operates based on "Statistical Machine Translation", in which detecting patterns in documents that have already been translated by human translators. What you have to do is to go the website and type in what you need to translate into the box on the left. Next, the translation will be generated on the right hand side. Google Translate is supposed to be a useful tool in helping people doing translation job. However, the more people use it, we find that it generates weird translation. In my research, I will be looking at the translations to see what happens to the translation. I will be focusing on Chinese, English, and Korean.
